Acting Police Corps chief Stefan Hamran has called on politicians and the public to exercise restraint in their statements regarding the case of an eleven-year-old girl who was severely bullied by a group of teenagers, adding that they should let the police do their job and that premature conclusions and an escalation of tension were making the investigation more difficult. Hamran said he was following the investigation closely and was in touch with the head of the Bratislava region police department. "At the current stage of the investigation, the Police Corps already has information that is not available to the general public, politicians or the media," he said. According to the acting police chief, the police currently cannot provide more information regarding the case given the fact that it's still being investigated.
