Last year, Poles spent 7 percent more on alcoholic beverages than in 2019, the BIG InfoMonitor debt register told PAP."The debts of alcoholic beverages companies went down by PLN 10.5 billion (EUR 2.3 billion) during the coronavirus pandemic," BIG InfoMonitor reported. According to the register, the sales of whisky, gin, rum and tequila increased slightly while the sales of beer decreased by 1.6 percent.
