Poles negative about Church's actions to tackle child abuse - study

Some 47.9 percent of respondents assessed the Polish Catholic Church's actions to deal with sexual abuse of minors by members of the clergy, as "definitely insufficient," according to a recent study by the IBRIS pollster for the Interia web portal. The study showed that 23.5 percent of those surveyed claimed the Church's actions are "quite insufficient" wheras 10.5 percent responded "I don't know" or "hard to say."
