Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki said in Switzerland's Davos on Thursday that several country leaders he had talked to expressed understanding for his party's legislative initiatives that he said were aimed at preventing chaos in the judicial system. "All confirm that if such a situation happened in their country, then their government would have to take action. Because if it didn't ... the whole justice system would be in a mess," Morawiecki said on Polish public radio. He said that "a serious state such as Poland can't allow chaos in the justice system." He said there was "huge social support" for reforming the justice system in Poland. "Therefore we'll be defending our right to this reform with full determination," he said.
