Poland wants to buy house of its late Nobel prize winner

The Polish prime minister has declared that Poland wants to purchase a house near Paris, once owned by Maria Sklodowska-Curie, a Polish-born Nobel Prize laureate in physics and chemistry. "I have commissioned activities aimed at the purchase of Maria Sklodowska-Curie's house near Paris," Mateusz Morawiecki said on Twitter. "This place is part of Polish history."
