Poland used slightly more renewable energy in 2018 - stats office

The use of renewable energy in total energy consumption edged up by 0.26 of a percentage point to 11.16 percent in 2018, Poland's Central Statistical Office has reported. Poland's gross power consumption increased by 1.13 percent in 2018, including by 3.48 percent in the case of renewable energy, GUS said in a report on Monday. The country obtained 68.88 percent of its renewable energy from solid biofuels, 12.55 percent from wind and 10.33 percent from liquid biofuels.
