Poland's unemployment rate unchanged at 5.1 pct in October - ministry

The rate of unemployment in Poland remained unchanged at 5.1 percent in October, Deputy Family and Labour Minister Stanislaw Szwed said on Thursday. The figure is in line with analysts' expectations. At the end of October, the number of unemployed reached 841,900 and was 9,300, or 1.1 percent lower compared to the previous month. There were 95,500, or 10.2 percent less unemployed persons at the end of last month compared to last year.
