Poland's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 3.7 percent in April from 3.8 percent in March, Eurostat, the EU's statistics agency, said on Tuesday. Eurostat estimated the number of jobless people in Poland at 638,000 in April. According to Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS), the unemployment rate in the country fell to 5.6 percent in April from 5.9 percent a month earlier. The discrepancy between GUS and Eurostat figures results from different methodologies.
