Poland unemployment at 6.5 pc this year

The rate of registered unemployment in Poland will remain steady at around 6.5 percent throughout the year, a deputy development minister said on Wednesday. Robert Tomanek told the lower house of parliament on Wednesday that "the unemployment rate will be kept in check at 6.5 percent." In the 2021 budget law, the government has assumed a 7.5-percent annual average registered unemployment rate.
