Poland to spend EUR 91.5 m on child benefit programme in 2020

The Polish government will allocate the equivalent of 91.5 m euros for the Maluch plus benefit programme in 2020, supporting the construction and maintenance of creches and care facilities, Family Minister Bozena Borys-Szopa said on Wednesday. The minister inaugurated on Wednesday the next edition of the governmental programme, under which around 30,000 places in nurseries have been created so far. The number of places in creches has also doubled from 12.5 percent in 2015, to 25 percent in 2019.
