Poland to join EU's military partnership

Poland has decided to join Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) in the field of defence within the EU. On Monday, around 20 other EU member states will sign a relevant declaration, a source in Brussels told PAP. PESCO is intended to lead to deeper military cooperation within the EU, project financing, development of military technology and strengthening of the EU's defence industry.
