Poland's telecom TP SA strikes redundancy deal with unions

Poland's telecom company TP SA will reduce employee headcount by 2,250 through 2015 under an agreement signed on Monday with the company unions, union leader Robert Materna told PAP. "Initially, the management board suggested (employment reduction of) 2,900 people, but after the negotiations the programme will cover 2,250 employees. Under the agreement, 1,150 workers will leave the company in 2014," Materna said.
