Poland's C/A surplus at EUR 718 mln in April

Poland recorded a EUR 718 million current account surplus after April 2019, following a EUR 518 million surplus after March, according to National Bank of Poland (NBP) figures released on Thursday. Market analysts expected a EUR 518 million surplus. Poland recorded a EUR 279 million surplus on goods and a EUR 1.96 billion surplus on services. It also recorded a EUR 1.46 billion deficit in primary income and a EUR 67 million deficit on secondary income. April's exports grew by 10.3 percent y/y while imports increased by 8.7 percent.
