Poland sees first Brazilian Covid-19 mutations

Three cases of the Brazilian Covid-19 variant have been detected in Poland's southern region of Silesia, the health minister said on Thursday afternoon. The highly infectious strain fuelled a devastating surge in Brazil last month. New infections in Poland are now dominated by the British mutation of the virus, which is more infectious than the original variant.
