Poland ruling party strengthens fragile majority

An MP, who had earlier defected from Poland's governing Law and Justice (PiS) caucus, has returned, increasing the party's majority to 232 in the 460-member lower house, PiS leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski has said. Malgorzata Janowska returned to PiS just 20 days after leaving the caucus.
