Poland's governing Law and Justice party would have taken 31.1 percent of the vote if a general election had been held on Sunday, according to a new opinion poll. An IBRiS poll for the Onet web portal put the Civic Coalition (KO), the main opposition bloc, in second place with 19.2 percent, down 3.1 percent from the previous poll. KO is being challenged by the Poland 2050 movement, led by former presidential runner Szymon Holownia, which would have secured 16.9 percent of the vote, up by 5.9 percent.
