Poland reports record rise in daily coronavirus cases

November 5th, 2020

The number of Poland's confirmed coronavirus infections grew by a record 27,143 new cases in the past 24 hours, reaching 466,679, the health ministry said on Thursday. Another 367 persons have died, bringing the death toll to 6,842. The Health Ministry also reported that 19,114 people with confirmed coronavirus infection have been hospitalised, 430,732 are under quarantine and 42,689 are under sanitary-epidemiological supervision. So far, 177,681 people have recovered.
