The Polish deputy foreign minister has warned that Poland is ready to veto the new EU budget, if need be. "If it turns out that it is necessary to resort to a veto, then Poland is prepared to do this," said Pawel Jablonski, adding that the mechanism linking EU funds with the rule of law was "very dangerous" since "it gives unlimited power to the European Commission."
