Poland ready to offer assistance to Germany following tragic floods

Poland is prepared to send help to flood-battered Germany if asked, the deputy defence minister said on Monday. "If the German authorities say they need aid, we will definitely act," Wojciech Skurkiewicz said during a public radio interview, adding that Polish firefighters would be the first to be dispatched to Germany, if necessary.
