Poland's Q2 general gov't deficit at 19.8 pct of GDP - Eurostat

Poland's seasonally adjusted general government deficit stood at 19.8 percent of GDP in the 2nd quarter of 2020, the EU's statistical office Eurostat announced on Thursday. In the 1st quarter of 2020, Eurostat estimated Poland's deficit to have reached 4.0 percent of GDP. Meanwhile, the general government debt was at 55.1 percent of GDP after April-June 2020, compared to 47.9 percent in the 2nd quarter of 2019 and 47.9 in the 1st quarter of 2020.
