Poland must brace itself for Ukrainian refugee wave in case of war, PM warns

Poland must prepare for a refugee wave from Ukraine should there be a war with Russia, Poland's prime minister said on Wednesday. Mateusz Morawiecki said in Tolcze, eastern Poland, that the refugee issue was a major topic at Tuesday's Cabinet Council meeting with the president, and announced plans to create a special coordinating team to aid possible war refugees. "A war could cause an exodus from Ukraine. We must be prepared for the worst," he warned.
