Poland's inflation in May at 2.4 percent - stats office

Prices of consumer goods and services increased by 2.4 percent year on year and by 0.2 percent month on month in May 2019, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Friday. In a flash estimate, GUS expected May's prices of consumer goods and services to have gone up by 2.3 percent year on year and by 0.2 percent month on month. In April 2019, prices of consumer goods and services increased by 2.2 percent year on year and by 1.1 percent month on month.
