Poland's inflation in January at 4.4 percent y/y - stats office

Prices of consumer goods and services increased by 4.4 percent year on year in January 2020 and by 0.9 percent month on month, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Friday. Economists polled by PAP expected January's prices of consumer goods and services to go up by 4.2 percent year on year and 0.5 percent month on month.
