Poland's inflation in April up by 2.2 pct y/y

Prices of consumer goods and services increased by 2.2 percent year on year and by 1.1 percent month on month in April 2019, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Wednesday. Economists polled by PAP expected April's CPI to reach 2.2 percent year on year and 1.1 percent month on month. In March 2019, prices of consumer goods and services increased by 1.7 percent year on year and by 0.3 percent month on month.
