Poland ignoring court decision - Greenpeace on Turow mine dispute

The Czech Republic is in the situation in which Poland shows contempt for a court decision and refuses to pay fines for its continued illegal mining, the Czech Greenpeace and Frank Bold expert group said about the Czech-Polish dispute over the Turow mine today. The Czech Republic does not have guarantee that Poland may abide by its commitments. "This is so, for example, because the EU Court of Justice should decide on the violation of the Czech-Poland agreement according to earlier statements. However, Poland is blatantly ignoring the court now," the organisations said in their press release.
