Poland's health minister expects Covid-19 infection rate to stabilise next week

Poland's health minister said on Thursday he expected sometime next week a stabilisation to occur in the coronavirus infection rate to between 25,000-30,000 cases a day. On the same day the health ministry said tests had confirmed coronavirus infection in 27,143 more people since the day before, the largest daily growth figure since the start of the pandemic. The ministry also said that a further 367 people had died as a result of Covid-19.
