Poland's economy will expand at a rate of at least 3.7 percent in 2020, Finance Minister Tadeusz Koscinski told reporters on Wednesday, following the publication of a 4.0-percent GDP growth figure for 2019 by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). "For this year, we have assumed a 3.7-percent GDP growth in the draft budget. I'm an optimist as regards this year, there will be at least 3.7 percent," Koscinski said. The Polish economy grew by 4.0 percent year on year in 2019 after recording 5.1-percent growth in 2018, GUS said in a flash estimate on Wednesday.
