Poland remains a "loyal" EU member, but fears that the bloc could become a "centrally-controlled organism" the Polish prime minister has written in a letter to EU leaders. Writing on the eve of a debate in the European Parliament on a ruling by Poland's Constitutional Tribunal challenging the supremacy of EU law, Mateusz Morawiecki said that Poland was prepared to observe the EU treaties in areas jointly agreed on by the member states.
