Poland's C/A deficit up in March - central bank

Poland's current account deficit rose to EUR 2.97 billion at the end of March 2022, against a deficit of EUR EUR 2.66 recorded at the end of February, according to central bank figures released on Friday. Market analysts expected the deficit to amount to EUR 2.76 billion. Poland recorded a EUR 3.25-billion deficit in the trade of goods, and a EUR 2.10-billion surplus in services. Exports of goods in March 2022 grew by 16.2 percent year on year, and imports rose by 34.3 percent from March 2021.
