Poland defence force switches to crisis mode

Poland's Territorial Defence Force has switched from training mode to full crisis alertness to aid medical services in combating the spread of coronavirus, the force's commander, General Wieslaw Kukula, said on Wednesday. Kukula added that slowing down the proliferation of the virus required speedy action, which was why the force has been put on crisis alert.
