Poland reported 34,151 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, breaking the November 2020 daily record of 27,875 cases, the Health Ministry has said. The daily death toll reached 520 people as the latest Covid-19 wave tightens its grip on the country. The health-care system is now handling 27,118 Covid-19 hospitalisations, up from 26,511 recorded the day prior, including 2,620 patients on ventilators, against the total of 3,473 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.
