Poland's construction output down in May - stats office

Poland's construction output decreased by 5.1 percent year on year in May 2020 and rose by 0.8 percent month on month, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Tuesday. The results were below market expectations of a 1.6-percent y/y decrease and a 4.6 percent m/m growth. In April, construction output went down by 0.9 percent y/y and increased by 2.3 percent m/m.
