Poland condemns harsh sentences for Belarusian opposition activists

Poland has sharply criticised harsh prison sentences given by a Belarusian court to two opposition leaders and described them as a clear violation of human rights. "The decision of the Belarusian authorities to impose prison sentences on Kolesnikova and Znak should be strongly condemned," Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz wrote on Twitter on Monday.
