Poland bans pollutive heating

November 5th, 2019

An amendment to environmental laws signed by President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday bans imports of pollutive heating furnaces and obliges households to connect to the national heating system. The main aim of the new regulation is to eliminate non-ecological heating furnaces from the market. Most are imported from other EU countries, Turkey and the EFTA (European Free Trade Association) states.
