Poland adds two provinces to stricter lockdown regime

The central Mazowieckie province, which includes Warsaw, and the western province of Lubuskie have come under tough new lockdown restrictions, which already cover two other provinces, after infections in the regions spiked. The new restrictions will be in force from March 15 to 28, with hotels, cultural institutions and sports facilities shut down, while the operation of shopping centres will also be limited, Health Minister Adam Niedzielski announced on Thursday.
