Poland accepts over 5.70m refugees since war in Ukraine started

Since February 24, when Russia invaded Ukraine, over 5.70 million people have crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border into Poland, the Border Guard (SG) tweeted on Monday morning. The Border Guard allowed 28,100 people into Poland from Ukraine, and by 7:00 a.m. on Monday the number of arrivals had reached around 7,900 people, they said.
