PM wants legal measures to prevent non-EU media takeovers

The prime minister has said Poland needs legal measures to stop Polish media being taken over by non-EU companies. Mateusz Morawiecki made the call during a press conference on Thursday about a draft legal amendment lodged by ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party MPs that would prevent companies from outside the European Economic Area taking control of Polish radio and television stations.
