PM, public commemorate wartime Roma transport to Auschwitz

The sad fate of Bohemian and Moravian Roma people remains not only tragic but to a certain degree also a hidden chapter of the Czech history, PM Petr Fiala said at the Memorial to the Holocaust of Roma and Sinti in Moravia today. People commemorated the 79th anniversary of the mass transport of 749 Roma to the Auschwitz concentration camp, including men, women and children, while the youngest girl was four months old.
