Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala expects the EU two-day summit, starting today, to agree on Ukraine's candidacy as an expression of solidarity, though the accession process will be neither fast nor easy, he told reporters before his departure this morning. Fiala also said the key to the shift in the integration of the Balkan countries in the European Union was unblocking the tension between North Macedonia and Bulgaria.
