PM Babis does not have to apologise to protester

September 16th, 2020

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) does not have to apologise for having said that the demonstrators who protested against his government in 2018 were paid for it, the Central Bohemian regional court decided today. The lower level court decided that Babis should apologise. Jana Filipova, one of the demonstrators, sued Babis for his statement, which violated her rights according to her.
