Plzen Region flies Kurdish flag as sign of solidarity

The Plzen Region will fly a Kurdish flag as a sign of solidarity on October 22-23, the City Council decided today, the region's spokeswoman Alena Maresova told CTK. In their released statement, city councillors condemned Turkish aggression against the Kurds and called on other representatives of regions and towns across the Czech Republic to join in the symbolic gesture.
