The opposition coalition of the Pirates and Mayors and Independents (STAN) would with a Czech general election in April with 27.9 percent of the vote ahead of the current senior government ANO movement with 24 percent, according to the April election model of the STEM agency released today. The opposition Together coalition of the Civic Democrats (ODS), Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) and TOP 09 would fare third being elected by 16.6 percent. If the parties were running separately, ANO of PM Andrej Babis would win with 23.8 percent, followed by the Pirates (18.6 percent) and the anti-EU far-right Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) with 12.9 percent.
