Pirates launch regional, Senate election campaign

The opposition Pirates presented the leaders of their lists of candidates for the individual regions and their candidates for senators on Thursday, one month before the Czech regional elections and the first round of the Senate elections. Pirates leader Ivan Bartos said the candidates would focus on the issues that are crucial in the given regions, such as the availability of health-care and social services, the transformation of industry and energy generation after the end of coal mining, digitalisation and drought.
