The Czech health ministry and representatives of general practitioners agreed on a recommended procedure under which people with suspected coronavirus infection should be newly tested by their GPs as of autumn, physicians told CTK on Tuesday. The new system should speed up the diagnosis procedure and allow for an early start of treatment. Early distribution of monoclonal antibodies, for example, may prevent a serious condition from developing in risk patients. Physicians and health ministry representatives will discuss the recommended treatment of Covid-19 on a two-day congress of primary care starting on Friday.
