Independent MP, ex-prime minister and head of the extra-parliamentary Voice-SD party Peter Pellegrini announced on Thursday that he is withdrawing his no-confidence motion in Justice Minister Maria Kolikova. Pellegrini said it would be futile to oust only one minister given the situation within the security forces in the country. In this vein, he reported that the MPs centered around him will instead start collecting MPs signatures to initiate a no-confidence motion in Prime Minister Eduard Heger, while calling on him to resign of his own volition.
