Unemployment has ceased to be a serious problem for the Slovak Republic, Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) told a news conference on Tuesday, adding that Slovakia managed to achieve excellent results in terms of the number of jobless people. Pellegrini supported his words with data released by the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre (UPSVaR) on Monday (January 20) showing the unemployment rate for December 2019 unchanged from the previous month, remaining below 5 percent.
