Pellegrini to react to letter from Kosice mayor when familiar with details

Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini will familiarise himself with the letter submitted to the government office on Tuesday by Kosice mayor Jaroslav Polacek, who requested for the second time that the government forgive a 15.2 million euro debt owed by the city, the government office's press department told TASR on Wednesday. "The prime minister will familiarise himself with the contents of the letter from the mayor of Kosice and then react to it," the press department said. Polacek argues that in November 2019 the government forgave a similar loan of 10 million euros owed by Bratislava and that Kosice deserves the same treatment.
