Pellegrini to attend UN climate change conference in Madrid

Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini will leave for the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 25) in Madrid on Monday, the Government Office's Press Department told TASR on Friday. Leaders at the international climate conference will discuss global solutions to the issue of climate change. The annual conference aimed at enforcement of UN climate conventions was last held in Katowice. It was attended by over 20,000 participants, including many presidents and prime ministers. The first UN climate change conference was held in Berlin in 1995.
