Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) stated on Tuesday during a check on Slovakia's border with Ukraine that the eastern border is very well protected and thus there's no reason to be concerned about the next wave of illegal migration. "Only a handful of the Schengen area's borders are protected so well as is the Schengen border between Slovakia and Ukraine," he stated at a briefing, adding that another ten kilometres of the border will be equipped with state-of-art technologies.
