Pellegrini says no one has asked him to propose no-confidence vote in premier

March 19th, 2021

Former premier and now Independent MP Peter Pellegrini claims that no one from the governing coalition has approached him with a request for the opposition to initiate a vote of no-confidence in Prime Minister Igor Matovica, TASR learnt on Friday. Pellegrini would currently consider such a vote to be a mistake. He'll wait to see how the coalition crisis develops next week. He argues that this situation has been going on for a long time and is also affecting the functioning of Parliament.
